With efficient airpump movement, walking diagonally to the switch and to the door can come within a few frames of a frame-perfect dash strategy. Dashing is therefore not recommended as it is also much, much less flexible when encountering bad cannonball RNG.

Try to trigger the switch by stepping on its lower-right corner, as this will ensure that you can align back with the door on time.
